Morewood Bikes 2006

Hello people, anyone out there, the casual surfer or the late night listerner, we have news.

Morewood Engineering launched their latest range of bikes for 2006, and we built the site. It's nothing major but some small improvements have been made to the flash, including a way to make all those bikers understand exactly how their frame angles are measured.

More about their bikes: They have launched a production model of the SHOVA ST, which is legendary in the 5.5 inch trail bike category.

Also, we heard a rumour that they are launching a configurator which will enable USA customers to custom build their bikes and buy them. Sound good? Sounds great. visit: www.morewoodbikes.com

Mobilize goes live!

We worked with Kaluma Development to realign the Mobilize branding and corporate communications. Mobilize is on-demand process software which is able to automate, manage and optimise various business scenarios.

Their marketing material was virtually non-existant, so with only a logo in hand, sploosh worked with an illustrator to develop the look of the brand, and explain how the Mobilize platform is able to streamline everyday business.

Cape Town World Cinema site

Another year is closing, and with it the great task of assisting Sithengi in publishing their website. The Cape Town World Cinema, part of Sithengi, runs from the 11-20 November, and ends this weekend. There are more films than ever before at this years festival. We created a lovely little movie module for them, so that you the public, can quickly see what's on at the festival this year.

Team Architects flash website

We launched the Team Architects website last week, which is just a portfolio website, but we tried something new with the navigation.

Adam Davis did the flash wizardry, and Trevor Swart did the conceptual navigation and design. The client, is a happy one.

Google, the final frontier

Google is all over the news these days. It's going to be interesting to see where their core business will be in 5 years time. They seem to be spreading themselves all over the technology and connectivity sectors. Google Earth, Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail, and now they have a joint venture with NASA to be in space research. Check it out here

Another pitch

No news on the pitch, but guess what, we're off to another. This time its really a high risk client, but has the opportunity to be really creative. A school website will no doubt be picked apart by some of students, inspecting the code and everything in between. This is one the of the students websites: http://www.chickenorbeef.za.net/ brilliant url if you ask me...

D-day

This is a good day. Sploosh was asked to do a creative pitch for an existing client last month. We put together a presentation two weeks ago after working ourselves pretty hard with other deadlines on the go. And today, is decision day for our client!

We'll keep you posted..

Hello world!

Ah yes, it's well overdue to have my own blog. From here I will rant and rave, wag my finger and ponder. I will join others on their soap boxes and have my say.

Probably won't have much impact on the world, Im really doing it as a work project. But anyway, let's see how it goes..
